Amédé Ardoin was an extremely talented Creole accordion player and singer who played in the Cajun style and with many Cajun musician throughout the 20's and 30's. His music had a great deal of influence on Cajun and Creole music that followed.
Most of his surviving recordings are not of very good quality, but nevertheless they allow the listener to hear and appreciate the incredible voice and talent of this amazing musician.
