The Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band

The Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band consists of a group of three people who have devoted their lives to Cajun music: Michael Doucet and Marc and and Ann Savoy. They have been playing together since the late seventies.

The Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band plays traditionally, choosings classical Cajun numbers or composing their own. Ann usually sings and has a beautiful voice and you can hear the emotion in her voice. Sometimes Mike and rarely Marc, will sing. Their love of the music comes through in their albums, and I really enjoy their music.
